The three workshops

What you'll do in each room.

Every group rotates through all three. Each one is interactive and hands-on.

Workshop I

College and Career Opportunities Resource Fair

Becca's Closet, College Fair

An interactive, informative session designed to prepare students for one of the most important steps in their academic and professional journeys: exploring future college pathways and career opportunities.

During this session, students will learn how to research colleges, training programs, and employers; how to approach recruiters; and how to communicate their goals, strengths, and interests effectively. Participants will explore strategies for identifying programs that align with their long-term aspirations, understanding admissions expectations, and navigating the evolving job market.

Workshop II

Using Resilience to Navigate Life

This is an empowering, interactive workshop designed to help participants understand resilience, strengthen it, and apply it to real-life challenges. Life is filled with unexpected changes, stressors, and transitions — but resilience gives us the ability not just to survive these moments, but to grow through them.

In this workshop, participants will explore what resilience truly is (and what it isn't), uncover the internal and external factors that shape their response to adversity, and learn evidence-based strategies for cultivating resilience in everyday life. Through guided reflection, group discussion, and practical exercises, attendees will gain insights into emotional regulation, reframing perspectives, coping skills, and the power of supportive relationships.

Workshop III

Step Into the Future: Bootcamp 101

This interactive workshop gives high school students a clear and practical introduction to preparing for college. Students will learn the basics of financial literacy, including what college really costs, how scholarships work, and step-by-step guidance through the college application process. By the end of the workshop, our scholars are better prepared to enter college with clarity, confidence, and a concrete plan for success.
